Details:
BIO…. …Cruton Bey started in entertainment working on southern radio stations under the wings of Clyde Pinkney & Sonny DeLoach known as "Sugar Daddy Sonny Honey"
He is creole, french and moorish descent. He was borned to creole parents, his mothers'' great gran-mother was Washitaw Moor(Native American/ Louisiana) and her great gran-father was french european(White/French West Indies), his father was of french and moorish descent. He was taught his pedigree by his father''s mother who raised him with principles of action in the south, and he took his blood-line serious, because they who don''t know their roots or just don’t care, is like an old dead oak tree, on the banks of a mighty river, dead forever. She taught him to be proud to be creole, and the blood that run through his veins are the key to the human race, a blessing from Jah the most High God. He was influenced by his late great uncle James DeShay Sr a legendary blues guitarist and singer at a young age, but he knew blues was not their native music but Island music was because of the french west indies connection, so he searched for that. As he got older he became wiser and was influenced by The King_ Bob Marley, who said “get up, stand up” buffalo soldier, we have something they can never take away, Burning Spear, Culture, Peter Tosh, Israel Vibration, Majek Fashek, Steel Pulse, Maxi Priest and many more reggae greats who gave him his true roots connections with music. What our ancestors were, we are today without doubt or contradiction and there is no man in human flesh who is able to change you from your descendant nature of your forefathers, unless their power extend beyond the Most High God. Truth today is what it was yesterday, it never change. He believe in the five highest principles known to man, which is Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice. And he know if the whole world smoke Jah''s plant of knowledge, it will be a better place to exist in. As the King_Bob Marley once said, “You can fool some of the people sometime, but you can’t fool all the people all the time” and “We gonna chase these crazy ball heads outta town”
…The vocals on this album is about life and the reality of it all, the music is a mixture of reggae and reggaeton, that island sound. And Cruton Bey delivers the message plain and simple, the lyrics of some of the songs reflex hurt and pain, and other lyrics reflex joy and happiness which could be the life of anybody. There’s a meaning to the song “Jing A Ling The Message”, “Kin-Folks” the title track, “Look At Mr Gilmo”, “The Preacher”, “Nothing Like A Mother”, and “The Queen”, music have always been a way for man to express himself and Cruton does just that with his own way and style, so sit back and enjoy, the sounds will keep your feet moving…………
