My second album is more centered around making each song stand out on its own. I feel that I have truly found a voice in the creative process of this specific album. The long way around is closely nit to manic depression. There are ups and downs in it and it has a mellow energy to it. There is a strong sense of acoustic guitar but there is also electric guitar in it. There is a softer side to it. The piano was used in it, the synthesizer and normal piano bring a rhythm to it and the baselines are solid and smooth. There are songs like wasted dreams and how we have to hold onto them. If you like to listen to songwriters this album would be enjoyable. Thank you Ian Hlatky for producing it and bringing a creative element to it. I would also like to thank Jesse Obrian for mixing and mastering. Special thanks to the drummers Steven Richards and John Horan and special thanks to Matt Sumner who played bass.
