Yonsen Maia is a Brazilian artist who uses the fusion between Hard-Rock guitar techniques and Brazilian rhythms: Samba, Marcha-Frevo, Igexá, Baião and others. He studied classical guitar for seven years and today, he is a great producer and composer. He has written arrangements for Orchestra, New Pop and Rock Bands and Soundtracks for publicities.
Yonsen has been praised by the Brazilian Press and Great artists: the Brazilian Magazines Guitar Player said: ‚"Yonsen songs are perfect and mature compositions/arrangements within Prog atmosphere and heavy sonority"‚ and Cover Guitarra said: "these songs are a good example how to absorb influences from the idols without copying their work.
