I began playing music at the age of 11 when I saw a cheap guitar bundle pack that came with an amplifier and a teach yourself dvd. At the age of 12 I began to write my own material, taking inspiration originally from artist such as Dirty Pretty Things and Tenacious D. After trying various musical styles and not seeming to develop any further I began to write acoustically, successfully developing my own simplistic style, learning to rely on the content of the lyrics rather than the overall sound of the guitar. From then on I have been writing folk music, expressing my current feelings through my lyrics and the emotion portrayed through the songs. At the age of 13 I wrote the first song that I was actually proud of, feeling a sense of accomplishment after finally defining my own style. The song was called ''Untitled'', a love song about teenage romance, giving up everything for it, a future, family and friends. This was the first song which felt to me like I had finally written something of some depth. In 2010, along with other songs for an album, I recorded Untitled, finally adding parts to the song, increasing its depth and recording something that could show my true potential as a musician.
