Mountain Morning plays everything from Traditional Christian to Contemporary Christian to some pretty hard-driving Christian music, with heavy doses of lead/slide guitar and keyboards. They have three CD’s. They have been playing around the Louisville and Southern Indiana area since 2001. They also have some Bristol, TN/VA connections and have played at their Rhythm and Roots festival a couple of times and at other local events.
There are basically three members of Mountain Morning’ Beverly Wells, Terry Wells, and Sonny Devore. They sometimes use other musicians for concerts and recordings.
Beverly and Terry are Husband and Wife and Sonny is their Brother-in Law. Even though the band has only been together since 2001, Sonny and Terry have played together in bands like Kristyl, Spare Change and Isaiah since 1975. Beverly has also played in other bands and has been playing with the boys since 1985.
