I was born March 5th 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio. The 3rd child of 8, I spent most of my early years growing up on a farm. The country life seemed like the only life there was. My Dad introduced me to music and my brother John was instrumental in my pursuit of music; literally, he bought me my1st guitar. I got married in 1984 to my lovely wife Jodi, and I have 2 children, my son Casey, and my daughter Kadi. I am co-owner of an environmental/general construction company with my brothers, Jim and Jeff.
Musically, I broke my life down in the following manner:
1980’s
In 1980, I moved to Houston, Texas, to pursue a career in law enforcement. While there, I performed at the “Houstonian”. It was a fun tim,e and my first time performing for a group of people. I returned home shortly thereafter. Throughout the 80’s, I made several trips to Nashville in an effort to see what the music scene was all about. Man my eyes were opened.
In 1986, I auditioned for the TV show “You Can Be A Star”. I was selected to be on the show, and in April of 86, I performed. I made several contacts and was asked to come back for any other program on the Nashville Network. For a variety of reasons, I was unable to make the trip.
1990’s
Most of the 90’s I spent writing music in hopes to record. I made a few more trips to Nashville with little interest.
2000’s
In 2005, I recorded some of my music on a demo CD. I worked with several studio musicians in an effort to make a record of the music. Being less than satisfied with the results, I put my music on the back burner.
Present:
In September of 2007, I started a project in Nashville at “The Doghouse” under the direction of professional engineer David Spires. The project is on going with superb results. I am looking forward to completing my first full album. The release is rapidly approaching, and I am very excited! The signature song, “I’m Livin'' On” features some of Nashville’s best musicians.
As a musician, I’m an infant, but I plan on growing fast and furious. With the help and support of many friends and family, my goal is to touch the lives of as many people as I can through my music.
