Rich Hawkins is a husband and father doing life just south of the birthplace of rock n’ roll and home of the blues, Memphis, Tennessee. Rich has been making music since his first year of college when he picked up the guitar to get a girl. (Is there really any other reason that guys learn how to play music?) Since then, he has been leading worship for the last fifteen years and now serves as a houseparent to social orphans alongside his wife Amy. Pouring into the lives of these children has inspired Rich to release his debut album “The Window” in February 2011. Believing that everyone is broken and shattered without the love of Christ, Rich seeks to remind his listener that there is a life outside the mundane waiting to be discovered by all who are willing to venture beyond the confines of their window.
