This four track EP contains specially selected tracks from a much larger body of work from 1998 - 2009. This refreshing take on simple "Hook" driven acoustic guitar based Folk/Pop music was recorded locally in Bude, North Cornwall and the surrounding area in a selection of Bedrooms, Bathrooms and studios.
With influences like Paul Weller, Suzzane Vega and Beth Orton Rich Gill builds on a lifetime ambition to write and record his own music about very personal experiences like Fatherhood and relationships. Rich writes primarily for guitar, but this EP also features contributions from a number of talented local musicians with additional guitar, percussion and vocal parts.
Born out of musical ignorance these songs have been written and recorded to sound "Right", not necessarily adhering to traditional compositional rules. These songs will have you humming along in no time and coming back time and time again.
