MUSICAL INSPIRATIONS from "The Atlantean Legacy", is a new CD of spontaneous musical expressions created by Amy Camie, Janiece Jaffe and Kim Taylor at the request of author, Paula Bates, who wrote the fictionalized story of Akana, a priestess of Atlantis, based on her memories recovered from a past life regression with Dr. Brian Weiss, detailing the final days and the ultimate destruction of Atlantis.
The three artists met in Bloomington, IN and set up their instruments in Janiece''s sound healing room. A section of the book was read and the energy began flowing. The magic was recorded by Janiece''s son, Chip and in 3 hours, the project was completed.
Artists
Harp: Amy Camie, is an award winning professional harpist, recording artist, public speaker on "Vibrational Awareness and The Healing Power of Music," and the Founder of the Scientific Arts Foundation. Her healing solo harp music has been used in several research studies indicating how they increase neurological functioning, support the immune system and reduce pain, distress and anxiety levels. As one woman said, "You touch others in such a deep place with your music...because it comes from such a deep place inside of you." Bowls & Toning: Janiece Jaffe, is a professional jazz performer, holds a BA in Vocal Jazz Performance from Indiana University and has been a practicing Reiki Master since 2000. She has studied with Jonathan Goldman, Tom Kenyon in sound healing intensives; taken Rhiannon’s Vocal Improvisation Intensives, as well as participated in Circle Singing training with Bobby McFerrin. Janiece is a member of NESHRI, The World Sound Healing Organization and The Sound Healers Association.
