Praise for The Alphabeticians:
“These guys clearly like words. Their rhymes are unpredictable and off-the-wall. "Spicoli" and "slowly" is ambitious, and for a guy in my age cohort, the "Fast Times" reference brings me back. It''s kind of like finding a ratty old Maui and Sons tee-shirt in the dresser drawer at my parents'' house. I mean that in a good way. I like their playful exploration of idioms on "When I throw Up". "When I throw up my hands, it means I''m bored. When I throw up my arms, it means we scored." And the pun and semi-oblique musical reference at the end is a nice touch, which took me a couple of listens to appreciate. "When I throw up to be a man." Brian Wilson, eat your heart out.”
