Details:
Recorded live at Lunar Park in 2010, Polarity was a sonic experiment involving a pre-recorded piece being re-recorded at ear bleeding levels. As the piece progresses, the PA system blows out save for one lonely subwoofer. At the end of the track, this subwoofer can be heard as a popping sound as the driver reaches its excursion and is unable to reproduce the notes being fed to it. The piece was recorded using two microphones in a constant state of phase flux as they were moved throughout the facility.
