Originally from Tempe, AZ, the Wise Monkeys moved to San Diego in 1994 where they have been based ever since. They''ve toured around the country several times as well as Canada and Mexico and have put out 6 CD''s with a seventh in the works. They were named San Diego''s Best Dance/ Funk band in 2000 & 2001 at the San Diego Music Awards as well as being nominated for Group of the Year, Album of the Year and winning Best Jazz/Blues album for "Pathways". They''re music has been featured in "The Real World" and the motion picture "Skidmarks" and was featured in a Corona Beer national ad campaign.
