Described as having created an ''acoustic version of U2'' Patrick Plunkett is a folksy/alt-country songwriter with a commercial leaning hailing from Dublin in Ireland. With regular shows in the London circuit at prestigious venues like The Troubadour and The Bedford Patrick is quickly growing a name for himself.
He released his debut EP ''New Beginnings'' in 2007 receiving several positive reviews. His new EP attracting attention is a step further in the same direction with a more mature approach to songwriting and a larger breadth of style. Accompanying him on the recording is his amazing band including seasoned session musicians Ronan McCullough on guitar (also hailing from the emerald isle) Danny Seddon on bass and Philippe Catermanne on drums and Matt McKeon on keys.
