Taking his name the from the concept that death can be celebrated rather than feared and hated, Død Beverte (born Stefan Klein) set out to create an eerie blend of music that is disturbing, yet contains an element of humor, and confronts the darkest parts of the human condition. Continuing where his original project Dethcentrik left off in 2011, Død''s fusion of heavy metal, industrial rock, electronica, punk, and his controversially violent, sometimes sado-erotic lyrics create a horror atmosphere so far unparalleled in music.
