Bourne Aspekt was founded in early 2009 by Kory Botkin (KornBread) and Tony Parenzan (Anon Prophet). The two met in 2002 and played together in a band called Naughty Barnyard but the band split ways a few years later. After 5 years apart working on other projects, they reunited in attempt to create a new vantage point on life and music. Toward the end of 2010 they recruited Rob Gensel (DJ Mist) of the Bay Area Record Rockers to join them, adding a new twist to live performances and fresh turntablism to both live and recorded productions. The group formula consists of live instrumentation, digital backdrops, and concious lyrics. The EP titled ''Attention Span'' consists of shorter produced songs made for a generation of short attention spans and file downloading, taking it back to punk rock roots of short flowing songs.
