Bobby Hamilton: Producer/Songwriter/Composer
Bobby Hamilton has been in the music business for thirty-three years, writing, recording, touring and producing. His production demos have helped to sell songs to major artists including Alabama (I’m in a Hurry to Get Things Done) and The Oak Ridge Boys (I Guess it Never Hurts to Hurt Sometimes). Bobby also co-wrote and co-produced Randy Van Warmer’s album, "The Vital Spark", which included the hit song, "Just When I Needed You Most". As a songwriter, his recent demos and projects have been signed to publishing contracts in Nashville and Los Angeles, as well as being cut by various independent artists.
Bobby Hamilton has played with or opened for such acts as Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Johnny Cash & June Carter, Roger Miller, Ricky Scaggs, Roy Clark, Emmylou Harris, George Hamilton IV, Randy VanWarmer, Ronnie Milsap, and many more.
Bobby has worked on many arrangements for Albert Grossman, as well as projects with Hit Record Producers, Ian Kimmet, David Kirshenbaum and Tom Collins. He has also worked on several scores for television and independent film projects. Bobby is a much sought after session player in Nashville, LA, and New York. He has also worked as a session musician on various albums for Bearsville, Warner Bros, and 16th Avenue records, as well as working at Ardent Studios in Memphis TN, Cherokee Studios in Hollywood CA, Music City Music Hall in Nashville TN, and Bearsville Studios in Bearsville, NY. From 2002- 2007.
Bobby is also an award winning musical director for Branson shows including: Lost in the 50’s with the Platters at the Starlite Theatre, Stuck on the 70’s at the Americana Theatre, 50’s at the Hop, Breakfast with the Classics, A Walk with Patsy Cline, as well as others. He was also the co-writer for “Branson City Lights” at the Remington Theatre, a co–writer of the music for the Broadway destined musical, “Mississippi Love” and is co-wrote the musical “The Beat Goes On”, for the Savannah Theater in Georgia.
