The Ottawa Valley is home to many talented musicians. It was in a recording studio that the basis of the band was born, when blues rocker Robert Farrell and lyricist Vince Kiraly, first began collaborating on songs. The sounds they produced were quite different from Robert’s standing band, The Robert Farrell Band, and many of them called for other vocalists, and other instruments to contribute. Others joined the creative process and contributed to the new sounds. Jeremy Merrick, Dave Milliken, Emma Bennett, Lisanne Begin, Stephane Patrick Parent, all chipped in the effort to create a memorable first cd album. Mike Bond and Jeremy Merrick handled the production side, and additional contributions came from Kristine St. Pierre and Justus North Kinloch. The first album has been completed, and we hope that some of our singles will hit the airwaves soon. The Big Valley Light Orchestra project continues.
