Details:
Regina Whitten is a native St. Louisan that started singing at the age of 10. Her dream to sing to the world has been an uphill one, but nevertheless, God has opened many doors along the way.

Regina started out singing at home listening to artists like: Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Mahalia Jackson, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Isaac Hayes, Barbara Striesand, Bobby Bland, B.B. King, Marvin Gay, The Emotions and Roberta Flack. Although she was a rather shy little girl, her dream was to sing in front of a big audience of different cultures and nationalities. It wasn''t until she was a teenager when she got enough courage to sing in a choir and a quartet along with her sister at the Berean SDA Church. From there she worked hard at getting involved with several choirs and singing groups - Just to name a few: Royal Kindred, Covenant, Heaven''s Own, EAY Federation Choir, Berean Young Adult and Senior Choir, St. Louis EAY Mass Choir, Berean Women''s Chorale, New Life SDA Choir (Huntsville, AL), duets and trios.

With a singing range of Tenor through Soprano, Regina hopes to inspire every audience she sings before to follow Christ. She has shared that message on TV (Channel 24) Larry Rice Show/ Telethon and radio (WGNU) on the Bible Answer Crusade Program in the St. Louis area. She recently participated in a Hurricane Relief Concert in the month of October (2005) linking up with different organizations such as: United Way of Greater St. Louis, Red Cross, etc., that was televised on KTVI Fox Channel 2.

In 1997, Regina entered a competition through Don Reed Productions in Nashville, TN with the group called Royal Kindred. After singing on one of the Grand Ole Opry stages, she found out a couple of months later that the group had won second place. This led to a 2-song demo in a professional Nashville studio and inspired her to move forward in her music ministry.

After competing in the semi-finals in Branson, MO and the finals in Nashville, TN as a solo artist, in 2004, she learned that she had won first place in the Fowler All Night Sings Competition singing one of her original songs "It''s On Its Way." The CD entitled "It''s Gonna Be Alright" that is offered through her website https://www.tradebit.com is a result of part of the 1st place prize package.

Her current dream is to sing internationally, write uplifting songs and to inspire the world to get to know the Lord before He comes back for his people. It is her desire to see many souls saved and if she can be used as an instrument for that purpose her life is well-lived.

This CD is a gospel inspirational project filled with
contemporary, classical and jazz styles of music. The
message in the songs is for listeners to find a closer
relationship with the Lord and for those who don''t know Him
to accept Him in their lives.

All of the tracks on the CD are originally written by Regina Whitten. A good portion of songs written were obtained through life experiences and others are things observed from life in general. As a songwriter, Regina puts her heart and soul into every song. Her songs are moving, emotional and uplifting which creates an atmosphere for worshipping God.

All of the musicians were God-sent. Keyboards: Dave
LuBega, Cryston Josiah, Darren Hale and Brent Johnson all
have a different flavor that adds depth to the project. Bass: Andre Wagner played a smooth bass that gave the project a fuller sound. Drums: Bobby McKeown brought life to it as he played percussions with a gentle but defined touch. Dave LuBega added a classical, contemporary yet gospel flavor as he guided the project with his expertise in playing many instruments and love for God and music. Love Ya!

The background singers included Regina, Kim Cossia and Eva Miller formerly known as Royal Kindred, added a beautiful soft inviting sound to take you higher with the Lord. These young women are very talented and graciously consented to help on this awesome project. May God continue to bless them and their families.

If you''re looking for some mellow but uplifting gospel music, this is the CD to purchase for your musical collection. This CD will give you hope and let you know that God will bless you if you trust, serve and obey Him. Don''t give up and know that He''s right there with you in the midst of every storm that you face. He''ll answer every prayer if you continue to just surrender to Him on a daily basis.
