Recent Photo is a Chicago-based noise-pop-rock outfit that puts on lively shows integrating karaoke dance musics, noise toy textures, and fake instrument playing with more traditional guitar pop-rock performance. Now a foursome featuring alumni of various Chicago bands, their current lineup is as quirky as their sound, featuring fuzz bassist and frontman Derek, former ballerina and drummer (and Lost Monkey member) Candy, noisist/thereminist Joe, and bassist and lead surf guitarist Johnny. By day, they toil, respectively, as a lawyer, medical equipment technician, Ace helpful hardware man, and sandwich deliveryman (and aspiring law student). Behold as the band lays down the law live or on disc!
