I''ve been making music since December of 2001. I started out by fooling around with MTV(R) Music Generator(tm) 2 on my Playstation(tm) 2, and later had a friend build a computer for me to make my music on.
The tracks on this cd are all b-sides tracks to my demo. When I first finished my demo, I realized that I wanted to practice my singing more. One of my full-on singing practice songs, "cigarette kisses," became very popular, and was remixed by many artists.
Most of the tracks share inspiration from a relationship I had with a woman a few years ago. I dug up old poetry, and asked for ideas from many sources, for the sole purpose of practicing my ''voice.''
Popularity of the song "cigarette kisses" and other tracks sung at the time inspired the creation of a b-sides album, "insta1: besides and cigarette kisses."
In this EP, emotions such as fear of losing some one you love, fear of getting too close, and regretting loss are explored. However, the music is not too depressing, but melow and relaxing. It has it''s dance style, with a unique sound.
