This record is a follow up to my previous records, "Decline And Fall Of John Q Sportcoat" and "It Gets Weirder Every Year". In this project I pulled the tempo and mood definitely UP with a nod to 60''s soul ("Used To Know A Girl Like That"), the Sir Douglas Quintet, Louisiana underscored accordion-based songs as well as a couple of bluesy, dark ballads. All in all a departure from the 2 most recent cd''s, but a welcome, upbeat collection.
