“X” is home to 10 tracks that travel from the metallic fury of “Make Tables Turn” and “Asshole”, the riff fuelled “Fleeting As The Moment”, to soulful “2&2” and the Thin Lizzy tinted “Make It Through” and the epic “Life”. With “X”, the band led by one of Rock music’s most distinctive vocalists Björn Lodin, prove that some artists only get better with time.
Lodin’s song writing skill is once again delivered in fine style by a collection of Sweden’s leading rock musicians in Hempo Hildén (John Norum, Glenn Hughes, Don Dokken) on drums, Weine Johansson on Bass and Mankan Sedenberg on rhythm guitar. “X” also marks the return to the band of lead guitarist Thomas Larsson (ex-Glenn Hughes) who previously performed on the Baltimoore album’s “There’s No Danger On The Roof” (1989), “Original Sin” (2000), “The Best Of Baltimoore” (re-recorded versions 2001) and “Ultimate Tribute” (2003).
This new album finds Baltimoore in the finest form of their career firing on all cylinders with their distinctive brand of Scandie Hard Rock.
