Details:
Silver Griffin (Formally The District SF): ...is a dynamic trio with an eclectic sound. Impossible to label, and with a style combining rock, indie, punk, progressive rock and jazz, they have a little something for everyone. Silver Griffin is Liam McCormick: Vocals & Guitars, Greg Black: bass and Seabrien Arata: Drums.

Currently finishing up a full length album with Syvia Massey-Shivy (known for her work with Tool, System of a Down, Prince, Johnny Cash and many more.)

Company Car: In 2003 Company Car made it''s debut in the San Francisco Rock scene. Since then they have gained recognition throughout the bay area for their unconventional song structures, lush harmonies, catchy melodies and entertaining live shows.

"... the San Francisco quartet makes a thunderous noize that churns faster than an Amish kid on trucker speed, harkening back to groups like Fugazi, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Braid."
-Noisepop 2006

Pebble Theory: ..Pebble Theory seem to understand what so many of their contemporaries cannot seem to grasp: the art of dynamics. The best songwriting and performances are built on the layers of shifting melodies and dynamics that mirror the human condition—sometimes aggressive, sometimes languid, other times somber and reflective. Always moving. Always real. This is Pebble Theory. Dynamic and Real. One listen to their self-titled debut disc and one gets the feeling that...(they)... are not only great musicians, they are music fans.

Review by Greg Pedersen — Monster Music

Damond Moodie: Brought up on a steady diet of Motown Soul, Hard Rock, and 80''s pop music, this Cleveland, Ohio native decided to blend his velvet thunder vocals with the rootsy but spare sounds of the acoustic guitar, only problem, was he didn''t know how to play the guitar. A picture of determination, this self-taught guitar player used open mics to hone his craft and sell his product while traveling around the U.S. Eventually landing in Oakland. This track is from his second full-length album Daydreamer.

Jay Trainer: Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, singer/songwriter Jay Trainer has found his place in San Francisco, CA. Combining groove-laden soulful riffs and brutally honest lyrics Jay''s music pulls from the many influences of funk, rock, blues, and psychedelia. His ability to effortlessly negotiate tone and volume - moving from a quiet, almost jazzy tone, to a booming thunder - is an aspect of his sound that draws music lovers of all types. His unique combination of genre defying compositions and free formed jams have been causing quite a stir in the local Bay Area scene. Since his arrival in CA years ago he has contributed to several local groups including The Yardsale, Full Williams Trio, First Day Spaces and Union to name a few.

Plum Crazy: Plum Crazy is an expressive and original group of five experienced and dedicated musicians from Northern California. Their self titled debut is gaining radio play and acclaim from grassroots efforts by the band. Producer and engineer Sean Beresford, who has worked with Third Eye Blind and The Donnas, really understood what the band was going for and allowed their sound to shine through.

Dave Rude Band: "I sing and play guitar. I''ve got my own band. We play rock''n''roll music. We like melody. We like cool lyrics. We like chord progressions that make a chill run up your spine. We like riffs. We like solos. Also, I''m lucky enough to play guitar in one of my favorite bands, TESLA."

Broken Dolls: "Listing influences won''t tell you anything about our music. Listen for yourself."

Hailing from the East Bay, the Broken Dolls are breaking into the scene quicker than you can piece them together. Their debut album When Darkness Comes is already gathering attention from critics and fans beyond the city limits. The strong songwriting and innovative lyrics of Dylan DiMartini, Eric Stone and Theresa are bound to win you over no matter who you are.

Narc: A trio of rockers with melodic tendencies, Narc was an emerging force on the San Francisco rock scene. This track was the title track from their debut album, alas it was their only album, Narc disbanded in mid-2006.

Move: Like being lifted by an enormous cloud of multi-colored balloons, MOVE’s music will elevate and energize you. Hold on tight and their dynamic strands of rock-cetera will carry you off. Their world is both comedy and tragedy, ranging emotionally from below-the-basement to through-the-roof. The stellar rhythm section establishes a steady foundation for a wide range of keyboard and guitar sounds, from bitter to sweet, from funky to fun, while two strong voices provide the rhymes and harmonies.

Katie Jay: To sit down with Katie Jay is to sit down with a twenty-two year old kid, whose spirit rivals all that we idealize about youth. You''ll leave having met a woman who feels compassion and responsibility towards all that surrounds her. Katie''s lyrics are familiar to the human heart. Musicians on the record include Smashmouth''s Michael Urbano on drums, Zero 7 bassist Rob Mularchy, and Mint Condition lead singer Stokley Williams.

Mavalour: "Long Live Rock N Roll!" Consisting of natives from the Bay Are, Mavalour takes great song writting, and killer live shows to get people moving and shankin...
