Album Reviews -

"William Hayden’s passion for music dates back to the 60’s. As a child, he dreamed of being a performer...and from the first time he held a guitar in his hands, he was hooked. Many years and life lessons later, Hayden is back with his new group, Timeseven..."

"Williams’ refreshing vocals combined with Hayden’s relatable lyrics make for an impressive release. Complete with tales of love, loss and life’s ups and downs, Hayden’s songs are emotional and realistic. Anyone who has witnessed love or heartache will find something to grasp onto..."

"Throughout the 10 tracks, the listener witnesses the first blossom of love to the mournful death and heartache of love lost, which is a true testament to Hayden’s ability and intricacies as a songwriter..."

"Hayden’s introspective and uplifting lyrics mesh well with Williams’ singing style making a mark on the listener..."

"Hayden shows his ability to understand the human psyche and have listeners relate..."

"The light-hearted ''Your Love'' switches gears and recalls Jack Johnson with intricate guitar finger picking and soft vocals. With delicate percussion, the feel good song further demonstrates Timeseven’s prowess as musicians. Additionally, the stand-out “Ordinary Man” brings to mind John Mayer with bluesy guitar interludes while “I Still Think of You” tells the dark tale of unfulfilled dreams. ''Movin’ On'' follows suit and slows down the pace until album closer and title track “This Road.” No doubt an impressive debut release..."

William Hayden has always been drawn to and influenced by music. Even at a young age when he built a guitar out of a cardboard box, rubber band and a broom handle, his love for music and the guitar was evident. Growing up in the sixties and seventies, he was influenced by the early rock, folk and blues music that has shaped the music world today. For several years after college, his music took a back seat while focusing on raising his family, and working through some deep personal loss. Through it all, his love for music and the guitar has always remained an important part of his life. Even more important has been his faith in God, which is revealed in his songs. He continues to hone his craft as a musician, composer and producer and working in conjunction with Mark Williams, has released his best work to date.

With no major-label support, Bill ventures into new musical territory, exploring themes of personal growth in the context of the faith that has seen him through difficult times in his life. ‘This Road’ takes us down some of the roads he has traveled and is a record about common struggles and triumphs. The songs are earthy, genuine, and moving.

"The songwriters who have influenced me the most have been able to put into words what I felt, but was unable to articulate. Their songs have been a vehicle to help carry me down many different roads in my life. My goal as a songwriter is to be as honest as I can in the hopes that others will relate to the same experiences and know we are not alone on our journey down this road."

Production, Engineering, Mixing - Mark Williams. Special thanks to Mark Williams for his heartfelt vocals, the impeccable quality he put into the production and mixing of each song, and for his friendship throughout the entire process.
