There are a lot of strange things flying around Upstairs right now. Some of these things seem to point directly at a certain group of people. After I heard about the recent cuts of funding for specific health organizations like Planned Parenthood, it seemed to me that most of these decisions were fueled by prejudice and were generally short-sighted.
I wrote It''s Never Wrong to Talk About Love about this and if I make any money off of it, every dime will go to Planned Parenthood for purposes of preventative health care and education.
Even if you have never set foot into a Planned Parenthood building, I hope you know about all of the things these types of organizations do for a large number of people. It is okay to be against some of the big things that they do, but it''s mainly the little things, like providing education and basic care to people who need it, that could be very damaging if they went away. Please help support these organizations by either donating or at least talking with people about the changes that the government is trying to make.
