Shotgun were one of the pioneering bands of the British Rock ''n'' Roll ''n'' Rockabilly Revival. In the late 1970s there was a surge of interest in the Rock ''n'' Roll sounds of the 1950s, creating a mass following of Teddyboys and Rockers, following such bands as Crazy Cavan and The Rhythm Rockers, The Wild Angels, Shakin'' Stevens & The Sunsets, Matchbox and Shotgun.
"Calling The Shots" is an 18 track collection of studio recordings marking this time is Shotgun''s career, with tracks dating right back to 1975.
