The asturian band Sambre published in late 2009 their first album entitled "Na Solombra" that contains eleven songs of genuine punk rock-folk.
Sambre, Asturian word which means something like ''sentence'', ''sadness'', is also the name of a Xixón group created in 2007 with the aim of reflecting the musical influence members, with a rock base and choosing the Asturian language as a form of expression.
To the recording of this album have participated in the album versions of Dixebra "perversions" with the theme "Asturcón" and the compilation "Calzada News vol. 2" to "Atravesáu winches hair."
"Na Solombra" is an album mainly to infuence of folk rock''n''roll, where the twine-power and distortion wars share space with acoustic instruments like the violin, bagpipe or mandolin.
Thematically, the lyrics are of love and celebration to their personal experiences or life on the street. The production has been in charge of Xel Pereda, component of Llan de Cubel and Lucas 15.
Pure rock & folk sound in a live show in which mergers do not give rise beyond Irish accents and the traditional music of Asturias root.
