The Reagan Firestorm was formed in a dorm room at Texas A&M in early 2009 by singer Thornton Tucker and guitarist Clay Hooper. To fill out the lineup, the two recruited Mike Morstad (bass), Andrew Willard (acoustic guitar), Corbin Santana (drums), and Ben Carpenter (guitar). Together, the group fuses genres ranging from southern rock, to blues, to country to create a harmony of southern sounds. While still in its infancy, the band has garnered a substantial following around College Station, and the fan-base continues to grow every year. The band''s self titled EP was released in 2010, with 4 songs including Long Way Home, Summer Time Girl, Rainstorm, and Drinkin'' Easy. The band went to the studio in late December and early January to make their latest CD, which is set to release on February 25th at their CD Release Show.
