Details:
This song was written in reaction to the shock of the massive 7.0 earthquake in Haiti that happened on Jan. 12, 2010. The composer/singer, Bill Cote, had just months earlier started to volunteer with his Church ministry to Haiti, and started to meet some of the people from a sister parish in the mountains of Haiti. Over 300 people in their small town of Beau Sejour were killed in the quake and their town, Beau Sejour, was decimated. Proceeds from this song will be donated to Catholic Relief Services for the needs of the Haitian people.
