Music is God''s special gift for me to share my life''s journey. Through this gift I''ve been able to teach others, both young and old to enjoy sharing their dreams. I''ve been blessed to sing in many venues both large and small including on the streets of New York City.
My proudest moment was a musical video produced for my papi. I hadn''t even met him until I was in my mid 20''s. After watching the video on my TV show he told me that my song had helped him change his life completely from a 30 year king pin life style.
God blessed me with an amazing mentor Russ Roberson who was Frank Sinatra''s pianist. From what I learned from him, I was able to help a delightful young lady, Jessica Cikovic, who was wheelchair bound. Next I was even able to help my 80 year young spiritual mother Vondell Bradwell on her first single "Why Can''t We Find Love."
My songs grow out of my heart''s early pain while in the foster home. Bringing forth much praise and worship from 16 months to 17 years. I never got to know my biological mother for she was murdered when I was 10 years old. Then my papi was murdered when I was a young adult shortly after he heard his song and shared how proud he was of me. That song spoke of a powerful love and reconciliation with God.
So I''ll sing on!!! My hobbies are walking, tennis, watching eagles soar, butterflies and viewing rainbows in the sky. Writing treatments and scripts for a possible movie or documentary about my life story.
This cd came about through enjoying having the different talents join me in sharing their gifts with mine. I love giving others a chance to express their talents network them to a challenge.
