A native Chicagoan, Queenie began singing at the age of four with her brothers, Lamont and Kelvin. Her musical abilities were nurtured by her parents, James and Aldrea Lenox who are both renowned gospel recording artists, as well as, by the church choir. Consequently, Queenie has emerged as a premier vocalist and songwriter. Queenie''s performances are warm, infectious, powerful and inspiring. She has performed lead and background vocals with Michael Buble'', Patti LaBelle, Edwin Hawkins, Donnie McClurkin, Donald Lawrence, George Michaels, and many other major artist.

In every arena, she has become a highly sought after vocalist with appearances including , The White House, the Chicago Gospel Fest, New Orleans Jazz Fest, 1996 Democratic National Convention, the popular Montreux Jazz Festival resulting in multiple encores, and major commercials. Her melodious voice on "Oh My Chicago", in the popular Illinois Bureau of Tourism commercial "Gospel", caught the attention of advertisers and producers worldwide for movie soundtracks and commercials resulting in the winning of the 1996 Gold Mobius Award and the Gold Hugo Award. Queenie has been a featured artist in Chicago’s tribute to Mahalia Jackson, as well as conducted music workshops and recorded with a near 500 voice choir in various parts of Europe. Her most recent performances were in Linz, Austria in “Joan Dark”. The voice you can feel will be an experience to remember!!!
