Groove 8 has been touring on the jazz/funk circuit for five years. The band started out under the name Audioform, but due to legal reasons had to change. The result was Groove 8 and with a new name came a new album - DEBUT. Debut was written from the ground up and features several new songs along with fan favorite grooves form the band''s four Audioform recordings.
Groove 8 collaborated with Alan Evans the drummer for Soulive for production and direction. The album was recorded at Evan''s Play On Brother Studio in Northhampton, Massachusetts. Debut has received critical and favorable praise from the music press. The band continues to tour in 2011 to support the album and will release a new one in mid year.
