Simon had a timpani performance he had played and recorded several years before which would form the foundation of the piece atop which Damian, Philip and Simon over the following hour would embellish with various sound implements and microphones strewn about the room. The entire performance was mixed live through the main console and recorded stereo to DAT in what became a most ‘Happy Accident’.
