This album was truly a joint effort. It is one of them albums that was created in the moment. The three songs that Donnie wrote, "Dead Man Walking." "Passover Me," and "We Should Be Falling” were songs that he wrote many years ago, but never recorded.
Donnie Robbie composed all the music and played all the instruments in this album.
The songs written by Linda Ruth “Live Like You’re In Heaven”, “Wake Up Confidence” and “Awaken My Soil” were written in a true God moment. They were all written one after the other in about 1 hour.
This album has tremendous significance in Linda Ruth’s life. Between June 2009- April 2010, Linda Ruth became very sick and lost her voice. After being told by Dr’s that it would never return without surgery, which would be repeated every 2 years to maintain it. With no guarantee that it would sound the same as before. God stepped in on April 9th 2010 and touched her while she was viewing a live conference online. Her voice returned in a split second. As you will experience from the album, it came back strong and more determined that it was before.
