Industry Quotes:
Balls to the wall slice of Rock ''n'' roll, but for me, the track of the EP has to be ''I’m Coming Back''.
Full on, high energy driving beats and a head banging hook, this track simply storms out of the speakers and would do far bigger bands proud.
''Livin In A Valvestate'' have that little something extra that will keep them apart from the generic rockers churned out nowadays. This is a really fine young band and definitely one to watch in 2011.
Top stuff!

"Get into the zone with Livin'' In A Valvestate: An intoxicating brew of Kick Ass Chugger Rock, Devon style!" XAVIER RUSSELL (Classic Rock) Feb 2011

"Amazed they havent been signed to a major Label " * * * * rating

"Livin In A Valvestate are an English band, with connections in Manchester, Torquay and Exeter. Their five-tracker Smile is actually quite mature. While they’ve elements of trash and glam, what comes through is an aspiring melodic rock five-piece who have the art, elegance and sense of tunefulness to make an impact in 2011. A name to watch"

"Rip snorting UK Scruffs on a five man mission to return shameless shape pulling guitar heros and long haired golden gods to there former glory .a potent mix of eighties style glam metal and chest thumping 70''s biker rock that will rile any crowd into a dangerously rowdy rock n''roll mob Scott Rowley Editor in chief of Classic Rock mag march 2009 "

"Next up were a band from Torquay, LIVIN IN A VALVESTATE, and they impressed me from the very start. Obviously influenced by mid period Motley Crue, both in sound and look, they were tight, had good songs, and they had a certain swagger and confidence in what they were doing. I liked them a lot, so much so that I bought their EP, ‘Smile Now, Cry Later’ when the set finished. Of all the bands on the first day, they were the one who struck me as most likely to be able to take this to another level, and it was a very pleasant surprise to find a band with such huge potential in such circumstances. "The release of there EP Smile Now, Cry Later has announced Livin in a Valvestate as one of the Best original Rock Bands in the south west. The title title track alone being one of the best songs ive heard this year alone gives the Foo Fighters "Prenteder" a real run for its money"
- James Santer, Exeter Select 107.3 FM (Aug 06, 2009)

"WOW, this is a great rock demo. To be honest I''m very surprised Livin in a valvestate hasn''t been signed to any major record label. You''ve got that BIG rock sound that if in the right hands could sell a lot of albums. Every once in a while you do come across a great sounding band through myspace and this is the first one for me. The main thing is I know what can sell and what won''t sell. As you can imagine all I ever do is listen to music Bu.t just so you know you will get there soon. And as the saying goes all good things do come to those who wait. Keep kicking ass guys and good luck with https://www.tradebit.com Train To Hell Demo**Metal Head Kris**The Metal Head Radio Show***"
