The brain child of vocalist, bassist Eddie Kelley and guitarist,keyboardist Alan Markes,--- Audioyoga is an experimental 80''s /modern alt. rock combination of East meets West. "Honey on the Razor", a Buddhist expression,- metaphoricaly refers to the positive and negative forces of attachment to the desires that effect our lives.--There are four basic yogas in eastern philosophy.--The word "yoga", means, connection to the "source" , or the "divine".
Recorded utilizing the power of sun and wind,- --this collection of tunes ranges from the simple blues / rock/ funk genres, as in" Good for Someone Else",and "Go another Way" to the more cerebral, avante garde,- as in "Secrets", "Go" and "Honey on the Razor". With a little jazz influence thrown in for good measure , -no pun intended,- as in the song "No Frills".-- Rounding out the band is drummer, percussionist Michael Gerrard, who joined the band just in time to add substance to the tracks with his intricate drumming style.---- A tasty treat to add to anyones collection of classic modern alt. rock.---
