At an early age, Peggy began using writing as a means of utterance to capture what was seen through her eyes in her native south-side neighborhood. She did not know that her hidden talent would lead to further opportunities that would take her from Chicago and introduce her to the world.
After graduating from DuSable High School, she attended Payne College in Augusta, Georgia where she studied mass communication with emphasis in media production. She co-produced and performed several songs with several different groups. along with her mini cd''Learning to let go", She wrote and produced a single"Open a letter from God"for the new up and coming artist Brandi Greene.
