Gardening at Night is an indie-rock band born in 2006 in Turin. Three of their four original members were part of a band called Squirrel, the remaining two musicians came from other two bands playing in Turin (Green Woodpecker and Somewhere Between, which also recorded EPs and LPs).
Act Surprised EP is their first album, it contains 3 songs and it’s been recorded in the summer of 2009, produced and mastered by Eugenio Mazzetto at Casaluce Rec. in Rivarolo Canavese.
Gardening at Night appeared in Torino Film Festival 2009 as composers of the original soundtrack for “Non Ora, Non Qui” (Not Now, Not Here), a short movie directed by Luca VIgliani. Among several gigs around northern Italy, they also supported the Manchester-based band Lowline, in their first italian tour. They released the single/video "Charlie" in spring 2011.
