This collection is culled from three studio albums and one live in the studio album recorded from 1980 to 1997. Three of the original members, Rick Malis, Don Shean and Bernie Cunningham remained members of The Dog Run Boys during this time. On of their songs, "Blue Ridge" , written by Rick and original Dog Run Boy, Bob Artis was the title cut of Jonathan Edwards collaborative recording with The Seldom Scene and has become a modern bluegrass classic.
