(Warner Robins, GA) December 8, 2010 - Dream Studios & Media is gearing up to release their debut Christmas compilation project entitled, “This Christmas.” The album includes seven exciting tracks that will be sure to bless families as they celebrate the holidays. From the traditional hymnal, ‘O Holy Night,’ to the blues beat, ‘Mary Mary,’ this album is a timeless compilation with creative musical offerings!
Producers Cornelius Spencer, Dwayne Boswell and Dahl Moss use an original approach on ‘This Christmas,’ weaving musical intros and outros in between tracks. The short music bites include quotes featuring Dahl Moss’ wife, Val. Producer Spencer has an extensive background, having played for numerous artists at his local Church of God In Christ. Producer Boswell is also an industry veteran. Besides producing, he performs, writes songs and has played guitar with the legendary B.B King. “He produced, wrote, and sang and on ‘Mary Mary,’” says Dahl Moss.
The title track, ‘This Christmas,’ is contemporary with edgy beats. “‘The title track features our oldest son, Kahlil (KMoss),” says master mind, Dahl Moss, who also served as executive producer on the album. Truly a family affair, 15-year old newcomer, KMoss wrote the lyrics and also collaborated with his father on the music for ‘This Christmas.’ Joining KMOSS on the cut is L9 (Marc Anthony Freeman), who raps, while Brooke Ezell provides background vocals.
The album is more than just a holiday release. The inspiration came, says Dahl, when he thought about Christmas being a time to enjoy the holidays and wanting to release an album to reflect that thought. “I wanted an album that says – you can have fun during the holidays,” says Dahl. Adds Val: “This album is for everyone - it has all kinds of genres of music on it.”
