Where Do They Go?
David Benjamin: Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Danielle Camacho: Vocals
Matt Maltese: Mandolin
Graham Chapman: Upright Bass
Toby Preciado: Drums
I was sitting quietly in my kitchen, guitar in hand, staring at the cars passing by and wondering “where do they go?” The song seemed to write itself as I considered the possibilities and the consequences of making our own choices, or following those who went before us. But, this song is duplicitous in its resolve and leaves the question, "Where do they go?" unanswered in an optimistic tone.

This song is a toe-tapper with more of a grimace than a smile. You might not even notice the imposing sarcasm, frustration, or heartache beneath all of the rich melodies. It''s not until the fleeting notes of the screaming slide guitars that you ask yourself, "What just happened?"

This title track is an homage to the humbling self-sacrifice of love. Set to a slow and low heavy R&B groove saturated in organ squelches, blues guitar lines, a Quest Love back beat, and a little bit of that Sunday morning praise this truly is a Song for a Sunday.
