Details:
Dave Endris had been playing solo acoustic gigs for years when he joined up with Eric Carvill, Dan Gioffre, and Chris Stone in Nashua, NH to form Buckdancer''s Choice. The band quickly worked up a reportoire of original music as well as interesting interpretations of classic songs and began gigging regularly in the area. They released their debut album, "Crashing the Cotillion," in 2007.
When Endris moved to New York, it seemed like Buckdancer''s Choice had run its course, but the band decided to soldier on as a recording unit, and returns in 2010 with a tightly-crafted and deftly-arranged album in "Clouds Breaking Over Montmartre." This album finds the band stretching the parameters of their sound in every direction and employing a bevy of guest artists to add color and dynamics.
