The release of the EP has sparked a dynamic new phase in the development of this gifted young singer''s career, not least with a series of promotional dates throughout Central Scotland which included an appearance at the Merchant City Festival 2005 and Glasgow''s legendary 13th Note. These performances have helped establish a balance and energy to Adriana''s performance bringing out the best in her superb vocal range and writing abilities. Adriana''s songs are lyrically honest and melody driven, the simple instrumentation allowing the essence of the songs to shine through.
Having been a classically trained singer from age 13, Adriana began songwriting at 15 years old whilst in her first band, rock outfit Drain Smile (1994 -97). Adriana took a temporary sabbatical from performance whilst completing her studies at Glasgow University. During this time she continued writing and worked for a time with producer Sandy Jones. After completing her degree she started to perform her songs live again, and has played many shows around Edinburgh and Glasgow over the last three years, to much audience acclaim.
Most recently, Adriana has played support slots with Bob Cheevers and Eleanor McEvoy and has just returned from showcasing her music at the ROCKRGRL Music Conference 2005 in Seattle in November, and from performing at the legendary NYC Greenwich Village club The Bitter End.
Adriana is currently working on her first full album and hopes to complete it by Spring 2006.
