Pastor Charles Woolfork
Since his discovery at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in 1993, Pastor Charles Woolfork has been a part of the landscape of the Gospel music scene. Having shared the stage and pulpit with some of the most dynamic names in the industry, it''s his time to become a distinct fixture for the new direction of Gospel for years to come!
The latest of his 6 national releases entitled "The Process - Birth - Development - Destiny" has the aura of blessings and success written all over it as Woolfork returns after a two year absence to once again take us to a new musical dimension. The Process is in his own words his favorite work because it is the inaugural work from his own independent label "Eternity Musiq Group". "As a new business owner and entrepreneur this label is less about me and more about what people of faith can accomplish" Woolfork says.
Music and ministry is what he knew he was destined to do. From his early days in worship ministry to his licensing and ordination by Bishop C. Vernie Russell Jr. of Norfolk VA in 2003, Woolfork has had a love for ministry and music equally. "I feel if you want to be complete in one you need to respect and love the other, they work well when the vessel is anointed to do both." His ministry and music experience is varied as he served as a Worship leader, bible study teacher, youth outreach Pastor, and Administrative Pastor. He is currently a member of the fastest growing ministry on the North coast, The Word Church under Pastor R.A. Vernon of Cleveland, Ohio.
In late 2003 he founded a youth outreach ministry called Abstinence In Action, a vibrant ministry that focuses on HIV/AIDS awareness and training. "I think that real ministry is most effective outside the walls of the church, this ministry is designed to expose our youth and adults alike to the ravages of HIV/AIDS in our communities and to educate them concerning the disease. We deal with a holy - holistic approach to options and the consequences of making bad decisions, I feel that we absolutely need to be more transparent with our youth and in general if we really wish to eradicate this problem and make a difference." Woolfork has several national dates to do AIA workshops and is planning a National summit on HIV/AIDS awareness for youth in 2006.

experience that truly define Charles Woolfork.
In that, his new long - awaited release is finally here........ "THE PROCESS -
BIRTH - DEVELOPMENT-DESTINY" is Woolfork''s first solo CD and is a
welcome addition to his long and diverse discography. "THE PROCESS " is
the first effort from his ETERNITY MUSIQ GROUP
The project begins with a signature Woolfork groove called "WE PRAISIN" featuring
hot new producer "IZZY" and the Rap vocals of "Silky Slim" ( Of Gideon Band) It is more
than the average "Praise Party Starter" and lets the listener know that they are in for a
fantastic ride right from the top! This will be a real love
affair for true CHARLES WOOLFORK fans........songs like "SPEECHLESS"
and " REFUGE (IN YOU)" testify to his continuing love for God and ministry
and it thanks God for bringing him out of his "Adullum" experience. " A lot of
people talk about how they were brought out....Woolfork says, but I feel a
true affinity toward my favorite person biblically other than Jesus which is
David. We have endured a lot of the same pitfalls and
pratfalls in our lives, but even in those situations God blessed and allowed
us to both grow underground until he was ready for us to come out .....I
thank him for empowering me to keep my mind and heart toward worship by being able to press into his presence and find his heart. I know for certain if God had no heart I would have been destroyed a long time ago, but by his grace I am saved . It becomes evident when you hear songs like "FIXIT" a traditional song that further solidifies Woolfork''s diversity, and the jumpin "HOLLAH BACK" which he refers to as "a true party joint"..... which has always been one of his strong points.
The CD continues to bless with songs like "CLEARLY (SPEAKING TO ME)"
and "REFUGE" These are two of the centerpiece selections of the project and
remind us of the writing and production skills of Woolfork. " For the live music
on the CD Charles used a home grown cadre'' of musicians known as "PAGE PRODUCTIONS" - "Kenny Bell(Keys), Joey Greene(Bass), James"Mook" Agnew(Drums), Derrick Wideman(Organ) are some of the most gifted guys in the industry and to add Courtney Dwight(Keys) out of Toledo and with James Penn(Lead & Bass) WHEW!"
God has been really good concerning bringing true gifts into the fold to
make this latest CD really work."
"No one ever looks at a photo negative and proclaims how
beautiful the picture is........" Woolfork states, " There is a vision that the
photographer has but in order for that vision to come to fruition , the
negative needs to be developed.....the thing is, the development process is
extremely harsh, chemicals take the negative and transition it and bring out
all the true beauty that is within it. This is where I am in my ministry and
career ....I am being stretched and transitioned , God is placing me in more
of an authoritative position with my preaching and teaching and opening my
vision to reach out and become involved in meaningful causes like the
"A.I.A." and the "I''m Aware" campaigns to educate our youth about AIDS and
HIV and exercising our knowledge and wisdom to progress our young
people and protect them. I am proud to say through all that I have
overcome, I can still lift my voice and praise God for the strength to endure
"The Process."
