Greetings, friends, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! As a worship leader, husband, and father of 3 wonderful children, I have a deep desire in my heart to worship the Lord with all of my being.
I spent the first 33 years of my life searching for truth and the meaning of life until I was "set free" from bondage by Jesus Christ!
Desperate for anything, at rock bottom and without hope, (like Thomas in John 14:5-not knowing which way to go, which way to turn), I tried going to church. The Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart about all the sin in my life & I started to feel very uncomfortable with my whole life-style. I left church that day angry with God because I did not want to "surrender all" to Jesus. But I came back to church the next week for more and this time I began to actually listen very closely to what the pastor was saying. I began to read the book of John and fourteen chapters later, I found the answer to all my questions, about "the truth" in JOHN 14:6-"Jesus said to him (Thomas), ''I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.''"
Bingo! There was my answer-it was JESUS! So, in a church pew in March, 1983 I quietly asked Jesus to forgive me of all my sins, to wash me in His precious blood, & to come and live in my heart as my Lord & King & Master. I few weeks later I obeyed the Lord in water baptism. A new boldness & power came into my life! And praise God!, before long, filled with a new song of praise in my heart, I picked up my guitar & began a new life of praise & worship in Jesus Christ!
