Details:
Victoria Woodworth is a West coast born, Colorado raised
singer/songwriter currently living and performing in Nashville,
Tennessee.
Her mostly acoustic, roots-flavored songs are portraits of wonder and
recognition, born of life in a world where beauty and horror live side
by side in the same town, the same house, the same skin. Picasso said
it first: “If you want to know me, look at my pictures.”
Victoria''s first independently released recording “Faultline”, is
available on CD Baby, and won her recognition as Best Female
Singer/Songwriter of the Year in 2004 from Denver''s Westword Magazine.
She has opened shows for a variety of Americana artists including John
Hiatt, Loudon Wainright III, Shawn Colvin, Graham Parker and Chris
Whitley. “Bread and Flowers” was recorded and produced with her
husband and bandmate Steve Schneider, at their home studio, a fiercely
guarded rebel fortress in middle Tennessee, known only as The
Compound. She plays live in a duo with Steve, and is partial to cats
and combat boots.
