Raised in the peaceful village of Manchester Michigan, Natalie Mae has honed her musical talents into a new and unique blend of folk / roots music. Her parents, both music teachers and folk musicians themselves, instilled a passion and love for music at a young age, encouraging her to learn multiple instruments (piano, guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle) and to take the songwriting craft seriously.
A graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans and ("Katrina Class") music student, Natalie Mae soon became attached to the music and spirit of Louisiana. in her music she shares her own life experiences, and sings stories of desired love, dying love, and forgotten love. Her songs are well crafted and free-spirited.
