Millsbee was formed by two cousins with a shared desire to create compelling music for true music lovers. Matthew Lawson and Zach McBrayer began writing songs together in the summer of 2007, and their efforts eventually took form in the songs that comprise "Like June", Millsbee''s debut album.
Inspired mostly by modern folk artists, "Like June" combines melodic flourishes with brooding, often intense, lyrics. Born out of a sense introspection that eludes a lot of popular music these days, Millsbee is definitely a viable alternative.
A steady love of harmony and musicianship are evident in the writing, playing, and production of "Like June".
