"I''m originally from Milford, CT, and started out as a solo artist in high school and college, accompanying myself on guitar. After college, I began singing with rock and roll bands as lead vocalist. I also had singing roles in summer theatre productions of "Oliver!" and "West Side Story". After touring with a Classics IV revival, I began corresponding with the Nashville Songwriters Assoc, and a writer from Nashville contracted me to do some session work in the music city.
In Nashville, I performed with rock and country bands, while recording demos in town. I worked at ASCAP and RCA records, and was a finalist in the Hall of Fame female vocalist contest. I appeared twice on Nashville''s "You Can Be A Star". After moving to Atlanta, I sang with several local bands. I received an Atlanta Songwriter''s Award for two of my original songs: Living in The Twilight Zone and Nice Girl. I continue to do session work, and regularly perform live with Deja Vu, and Big Band Atlanta."
