I am happy you have decided to read my testimony, it means a lot to me. I will get right down to what''s important as most other things can be found in my bio. I consider myself blessed because God has chosen me to use. He knew that I would take this charge serious and treat it with urgency. I have been singing professionally since the age of 15 and have been singing gospel music for 11 years. I was not raised in church. It was not until recently that I was given clear vision and direction.
I was recently diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis which is a rare spinal cord disorder. This disease has only affected 33,000 people worldwide and comes with an extreme level of discomfort and pain. This includes numbness, tingling, coldness, or burning. I also suffered with heightened sensitivity to touch, heightened sensitivity to changes in temperature and found it difficult to use my arms and legs regularly during this time.
Throughout this ordeal, God has allowed me to learn the difference between illness and disease as well as the difference between healed and cured. There is indeed a ministry need in this area, as so many of our sick are written off and left to deal with their “illnesses” alone. We are simply not equipped to deal with these issues.
This disease has changed my perception of life and has developed my true relationship with God as He began to pour visions and dreams into me during this time. I get excited when I can minister to God’s people in song and share my testimony. The end result is a renewed mindset and compassion for “he that is sick among you”.
I believe that we all have good and bad times, so lets not make the mistake of assuming that everything will always be perfect or that you will always be healthy. The message is that we move today! Know that God’s WILL is urgent and that we must do as much for Him while we are able. God saw fit to pour into me during the recording of this project and I found it essential to aid the people of God in learning how to deal with illness. I will never neglect to tell a soul how good and faithful my God is, even in tribulation. He has chosen not to CURE me, but to HEAL me! He continues to give me just enough strength to push forward, and I welcome every opportunity to tell and sing of His praises.
With that being said, I pray for the opportunity to come to your church, or event and bestow upon your people what God has placed in me. I also welcome the opportunity to work with anyone who can understand the nature of what God has commissioned for me to relay. My ministry will challenge and encourage those whom God has chosen to hear. There were many lessons learned. Please continue to pray for me as I go out into this place called earth and share what God has placed in me. The Breakthrough CD is coming! In God’s Time.
